The second phase of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) will be held from 21 to 31 May, 2023 announced the National Testing Agency (NTA). The undergraduate (UG) admission process in universities will be completed by July 2023 and the new academic session shall begin from 1 August next year.
The UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar today announced that the CUET 2023 application process will commence in the first week of February 2023. "CUET-PG is expected to be held in the first or second week of June 2023. Results of CUET-UG are planned to be announced in the third week of June 2023 and those of CUET-PG in the first week of July 2023. With the decided schedule of CUET-UG and CUET-PG, universities can complete their admission process by the end of July 2023 and begin the academic sessions by 1 August, 2023," said the chairman.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) in March last year announced that UG admission for all central universities will be conducted based on the CUET scores. Earlier, the admission was done by universities through Class 12 marks or through entrance exams conducted separately by the universities.
