The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conclude the application window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 January session on November 27, 2023. Prospective candidates have until 11:59 pm today to apply for CTET 2024. Eligible individuals can register on the official website at ctet.nic.in.

Scheduled for January 21, 2024, the CTET exam will take place in 135 cities nationwide, offering the test in 20 different languages. Results for the January 2024 CTET exam are anticipated to be announced in February 2024.

For general and OBC category candidates, the registration fees are Rs 1,000 for one paper and Rs 1,200 for both papers. Meanwhile, SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates will be charged Rs 500 for a single paper and Rs 600 for both papers.

The CTET 2024 exam comprises two papers. Paper I is designed for teachers aiming to instruct Classes 1 to 5, while Paper II targets those aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8. The exam format features multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark, and no negative marking for incorrect responses.

How to apply for CTET 2024:

1. Visit the CBSE CTET official website at ctet.nic.in.

2. Click on the registration option on the homepage.

3. Complete the registration by entering the required details.

4. Log in using the generated credentials.

5. Fill in the application form.

6. Upload the necessary documents and pay the applicable fees.

7. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
