The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is gearing up to release the much anticipated date sheets for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in 2024. As the excitement builds, students are eagerly awaiting the detailed subject-wise schedule, which will soon be available on CBSE's official website at cbse.gov.in.

In February 2024, the CBSE Board is set to unveil the admit cards for the Class 10 and Class 12 exams. Students are advised to collect their admit cards from their respective schools and meticulously verify the information provided in the hall ticket.

The recent announcement from CBSE regarding the division of marks for practical and internal assessment examinations in 2024 has added another layer of significance to the upcoming exams. Practical exams for both Class 10 and 12 are slated to commence on January 1, while theory exams will kick off from February 15, 2024 onwards.

A noteworthy change in the marking scheme for the 2024 board exams has been introduced by CBSE. The assessment now incorporates more multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with a reduced weightage for questions demanding short or long answers. Objective questions will carry 20% weightage, while the weightage for short and long answer-type questions has been decreased from 40% to 30%.
