Good news for candidates who had applied for the positions of Technical Officer, Scientific Assistant, Technician Boiler Attendant, Stipendiary Trainee Cat-I and Stipendiary Trainee Cat-II at the Bhaba Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.

BARC has released the admit card for the Computer Based Test (CBT) to recruit 4374 candidates for the above mentioned positions.

Details of the vacancy

Technical Officer - 181 candidates would be recruited for this position

Scientific Assistant - 7 candidates would be recruited for this position

Technician Boiler Attendant - 24 candidates would be recruited for this position

Stipendiary Trainee Cat-I - 1216 candidates would be recruited for this position

Stipendiary Trainee Cat-II - 2946 candidates would be recruited for this position

How to download admit card?

Step 1: Log on to the official website of BARC at https://barconlineexam.com/

Step 2: On the homepage click on CBT Admit Card link

Step 3: Provide your login credentials

Step 4: Login to access your admit card

Step 5: Download and take a print out of the admit card

Pattern of the exam

The exam will consist of a preliminary test, an advanced test and a skill test.

Preliminary test - It will consist of 50 multiple choice questions and the exam duration will be of one hour. Questions will focus on Mathematics, Science and general awareness.

Advanced Test- It will be a two-hour test with 50 multiple choice questions.

Skill Test - Candidates shortlisted from the preliminary and advanced test will be called in for the skill test.
