IIT JAM: Admission counselling begins! Check important dates, Application process

The counselling process for admission to various post graduate courses at different IITs through the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM 2024) has begun from April 10. Candidates who wish to participate in this will have submit their application online at the official portal of JAM 2024 at joaps.iitm.ac.in.

Candidates will have to submit their application on the official portal by April 24, failing which no application will be entertained.

Also, students have been provided a window for making corrections in their application form. The last date for making corrections in application form is April 24.

Once the application process concludes, IIT Madras will be declaring the First Admission list on May 31 with the last date for Online Payment of Seat Booking Fee for first Admission list being fixed at June 4, 2024.

The second and the third list will be declared on June 12 and June 21 respectively.

Application Fee

Candidates will have to submit an application fee of Rs 750

Only candidates whose names have featured in the JAM 2024 Merit List will be eligible to apply for admission.

Here candidates must note, irrespective of whether a candidate appears in the Merit List of one or two Test Papers, only one duly completed Application Form should be submitted.
