One of her crowning achievements is the international special mention award she received from UNESCO's art competition, themed ‘Water Is Life’. Her painting, ‘Precious Wonders of Fresh Water’, not only clinched a special mention at the 4th edition of the International Youth Contest but also earned a coveted spot in a wandering exhibition across Europe. Further, she won the first prize in the government of West Bengal's 'Anti-Drug' competition on the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, which showcased her ability to convey powerful messages through her art. So far she has twice been recognised as the artist of the month by SGSH Publications, a unit of Kitab Writing Publication, thereby proving her mettle in both traditional and online art contests. In essence, Shreshtha has captivated the global art scene with her exceptional talent and unwavering dedication to creating meaningful art.

Reflecting on her recent triumph wherein she was bestowed with The Telegraph Online Edugraph 18 under 18 Awards 2024, Shreshtha exclaims, "I really did not think that I could get this award. Recalling how nervous she was in anticipation of the jury interview round with the esteemed dancer Tanushree Shankar; Shreshtha admits, “For the first time in my life, I was facing such a great personality…" Even as she relives that moment, her voice is tinged with a mix of nervousness and admiration. Nevertheless, as the conversation unfolded, she found her footing; delving into insightful discussions about her passion for art and its potential to drive change. Yet Shreshtha recalls gleefully that the high point of the tête-à-tête for her was when Tanushree Shankar said, “tomar food art-er singara dekhe icche korchhe ekhuni tule kheye ni!" (I feel like plucking the fried pastry off your food painting and eating it this moment!)

With aspirations as vast as her artistic canvas, Shreshtha envisions a future where she emerges as a professional artist, using her craft as a powerful language for advocating societal transformation. "I want my art to be the language through which I speak for social welfare in the future," she exhorts, her determination resonating with purposefulness.
