With a strong emphasis on sports and physical development, Orchids kick-started its masterclasses and sports training camps for the students in Gurugram, Sonepat, Rohtak, and Kolkata with Mary Kom, Shikhar Dhawan’s Da One Sports Academy, Geeta Phogat and now with renowned Indian Footballer Bhaichung Bhutia. The students were exposed to professional sports training from experienced coaches and sports experts in various sports domains, including Cricket and Football.
The primary goal of this Football Training is to cultivate and enhance a culture of discipline, teamwork, determination, and athleticism in young minds at Orchids. The first football training camp was rolled out from the 13th to the 15th of October across Orchids Campuses in Kolkata. During the three-day camp, students actively participated in activities to hone their skills through structured training methods, insights, and learning the hard and soft skills required for the game, exemplifying the essence of genuine sportsmanship.
