This 17-year-old is a genuine all-rounder. Be it studies, sports, or music, Kushagra has secured the top rank in all the arenas, making him a perfect all-rounder. A terrific squash player since his early days, Kushagra has made the state proud with the state rank of 1 in the under-19 category and currently holds an all-India rank of 25 in the same category.

He also holds a world ranking of 654 in the sport. Kushagra is also a champion swimmer and a wonderful musician, thus making him the rightful winner of The Telegraph Online Edugraph 18 under 18 Awards.

"I am happy and proud to have won the Edugraph 18 under 18 awards. It’s a great feeling when you can see the hard work you put in bear fruit," he said.

"This award has given me a greater sense of belief in my ability to perform and achieve my goals which would translate into other areas of my life," he added.

A fitness freak, Kushagra believes not only in physical fitness but also in mental fitness. He wishes to take up medicine as a career and is currently preparing for the NEET Exam.

"I wish to represent India at an international event soon and would like to play and enjoy squash throughout my life," said the Calcutta International School student.

Not only squash, this multi-talented teenager is also a talented musician and swimmer. He has been awarded a distinction in Grade 3 Examinations in Acoustic Guitar by the London School of Music and has also represented his school at various swimming competitions and has won every individual event at his school.

"By sticking to the plans and routines, I set for myself each day and consistently make progress towards my goals," says Kushagra.
