The three day techno management fest of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Concetto’23 will start at the Penman Auditorium of the institute with Shri Varun Ranjan, Deputy Commissioner of Dhanbad inaugurating the event as chief guest in presence of Prof JK Pattanayak, Officiating Director of institute and Prof Dheeraj Kumar, Deputy Director besides others.
Notably, the three day festival scheduled from October 13 to 15, based on the theme of Cosmic Odyssey during which over 30 technical events including Robo Wars and Prod Blitz is scheduled will also witness the electrifying EDM night couple with a mesmerizing concert, guaranteeing an unforgettable musical experience.
Prof Vasant Govind Kumar Villuri, Associate Professor Department of Mining Engineering who is also the convener of Concetto’23 said, “ The event where knowledge and entertainment converge seamlessly will also witness the prominent speaker like Shri M Shrikanth, Mission Director of Chandrayan-3, ISRO; Santosh Kumar Gupta, Scientific Officer, BARC; Mr M Sandipan Chattopadhyay, Co-Founder and CEO XELPMOC; Dr Virendra Chauhan, Teacher, Educator and UPSC Mock Interviewer and Mr Anubhav Dubey, Co-Founder CSB sharing knowledge enhancing thoughts with the audience at IIT (ISM).
Giving details of host of technical events scheduled during the fest, Prof Villuri said that during Robowar which is an engineering masterpiece, colossal robots armed with flamethrowers, crushers and launchers will vie for survival while during X Space, which is a gaming event finest gaming teams will immerse in a battle of supremacy striving to give the most thrilling performances.
“The innovative ideas of the students will be put to some test before the industry experts during the event titled Innoventure” further said Prof Villuri and added that the fest pays homage to India's accomplishments in space exploration and offers a platform where brilliant young minds converge with industries seeking fresh perspective.
Prof Saurabh Srivastava, co convener of the event, said “ The event which is a bridge connecting industries with next generation innovators is designed with a diverse range of technical and management events, providing a stage for emerging talents to shine.
A host of other events including Stratethon, Galactic Maze Maverick, Cosmic Quarry, Masterstack 2.0, Bizathon etc are also scheduled during the event.
