About the MBA Programme

Apart from these, they are also learning how to start and run a business.

“Companies are now starting to capture news business. Recently, we had a tie-up with Toyota as well. Our students did market research and found out that EVs (electric vehicles) have a good market in West Bengal. The level of acceptability is high and the price range is catered to the upper and middle class segments.

“We were unable to accommodate a large number of students in our curriculum. We have various PG and UG courses along with MBA in different streams. One of the highlights of our business programmes is the MBA in Business Analytics and Data Science. This is a premium programme, which we have launched this year and has garnered a huge response”, said Prof (Dr) R P Banerjee, Chairman & Director, EIILM- Kolkata, India.

“Placements have never been a concern for us, but quality placements are. By 2026, I am targeting an annual package of 1 crore for my students. Meanwhile, this year the placement range has reached around 20 lacs. Additionally, we have also focused on product building at our incubation centre for the students.”

The institute has also been focusing towards several international collaborations with countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Australia.

“We have also witnessed a surge of interest among students wishing to start their own business, and in order to accommodate that, we have been giving investment support. A specialisation in Data Science is also giving a technological edge on managerial know-how”, Dr Banerjee concluded.
