It was exciting because it is a huge change, we are in the middle of a pandemic, but I feel both FDCI and Lakme have pulled it off so brilliantly, making sure we are all safe and at the same time, celebrate fashion, designers and art. It was also a very long walk which I am not used to... which was nice because you got the sense of the outfits more.

What did you like about what you wore?

I love the fact it is a combination of athleisure and Indian. I feel athleisure has been such a big part of all of us in the past year and I have lived in sweatpants and this was a nice amalgamation of Indianwear that makes me feel glamorous and comfort, which is in the fabric and style.

What is your fave bit about Payal’s creations?

I have always admired her silhouettes and colour palette. I am a huge fan of pastels, which she has done a lot. Her fabrics are so light and wearable. It fits so many different body types and women across ages.

This summer seems no different than last year’s. We are all still pretty much indoors. What are your plans?

Definitely be safe. It is important to be responsible. Just be more conscientious and conscious of the world we are living in.

What are your summer fashion loves?

I love lots of cotton and linen, things that are light and loose and don’t stick to your body.

What are the new things you are looking to try now that we are all exploring other interests?

Hopefully travelling! That’s the only thing on my mind right now!

What did you watch last?

I am currently watching This Is Us’ new season.
