On the menu: Indulge in some of the traditional dishes this holy month of Ramadan from the kitchen of the star hotel, like Haleem, Nihari Gosht and Chicken Korma. You could also indulge in small bites like Boti Kebab Roll, Paneer Tikka, Falafel with Hummus and Murgh Malai Tikka. The good old biryani — chicken, mutton, egg and subz are also available. End your meal with a portion of Shahi Tukda, Fruit Salad or Firni.

What: Share a touch of love this Ramazan

On the menu: The special Ramazan spread includes traditional flavours that will linger on your palate for days to come. The Iftar meal has been put together as a full-fledged menu for your family to be at home and feast on! One can find snacks like crispy fritters of potato, eggs and onions. There are fruit bowls, Chicken Cutlet, Mutton and Subz Galouti to start with. Ramazan favourites include Kala Chana, Keema Samosa, Shahi Mutton Haleem, Biryani and Rezala. Sweet lovers can indulge in Phirni and Jalebi.

On the menu: One can take a pick from the a la carte menu of the star hotel while ordering from food delivery apps. Some of the bestselling dishes to order are Paneer Lababdar, Shikampuri Kebab, Lahori Nalli, Dal Makhni, Zaffrani Murgh Biryani, Sheermal, Kulcha, Naan and Phirni.

On the menu: Break your fast with yum and refreshing smoothies that are packed with the goodness of fruits and seeds like flax, pumpkin and sunflower. The filling and yum sips contain no extra sugar. For something light, try the Watermelon Punch that also has basil with an added twist of green chillies that gives a kick. You could also place an order for Raspberry, Blackberry and Strawberry Smoothie Bowl, topped with seasonal fruits, granola and seeds.

Owner speak: “Fruits play a vital role in Iftar so we thought of offering something nutritious and healthy for people to break their fast with. Our smoothies are wholesome,” said Manjyot Kaur.

On the menu: Mutton Galawati Kabab, Murgh Zafrani Kabab, Murgh Qalmi Kabab, Oudh Special Raan Biryani, Special Kolkata Mutton and Chicken Biryani, Gosht Bhuna, Gosht Kundan Kaliya, Chicken Irani, Lucknowi Paratha, Phirni and Gajar Ka Halwa will make your Iftar evenings a yummy and memorable one.

Owner speak: “When we think about Ramzan, the first thing that comes to our mind is all the great food that the month-long holy affair offers. Unfortunately, this time, all those delicacies will be hard to get. But to keep you happy, we at Oudh 1590 have kept in mind your favourite dishes. You can now order in the most savoured Raan Biryani, which we have now made available for delivery and the newly introduced Kolkata Special Mutton and Chicken Biryani without even stepping outside,” said Shiladitya and Debaditya Chaudhury, of Oudh 1590.

On the menu: Fruits and Iftar go hand-in-hand. Yellow Straw is delivering raw and uncut fruits like mango, watermelon, pineapple, kiwi, Malta orange, sweet lime, musk melon, pomegranate and more.

Owner speak: “Currently we are not delivering juices or shakes as we are trying our best to honour the customers basic necessities first. Mangoes, watermelon, apple and dates are our bestselling fruits. Presently we are delivering through four outlets and 8-10km are covered from each outlet. A good part of the city is covered,” said Vikram Khinwasara, co-founder of The Yellow Straw.

On the menu: Get a taste of some of the best of Sanjha Chulha this holy month. Besides Mutton Haleem which is their bestseller, you can try Chicken Haleem, Fried Chicken, Chicken 65, Iftar Thali and Falooda.

Owner speak: “For every occasion or celebration, one thing is common that is food. So it goes for Ramazan too. Few of the food items are synonymous with Ramazan and haleem is one of them. Due to the current lockdown situation we are keeping a concised Iftar menu of which haleem is a must-try as it’s very healthy and nutritious. We are delivering through Swiggy and our own fleet of delivery boys. Taking care of hygiene and sanitisation and precautions in handing over food to our guests,” said Asif Ahmed, co-owner Sanjha Chulha.
