Art and music came together on the banks of the Ganges at Prinsep Ghat on November 30 at the first edition of the River Festival.

Conceived as a series, the first edition saw a group of students from the Government College of Art & Crafts wielding the paintbrush first and then letting passersby also take to it. Guests also enjoyed a sundowner with a music stage set against the backdrop of the majestic Prinsep porch. As the evening proceeded, local musical acts took to the stage. Snapshots:
