“The X5 is an iconic model and it created a segment that never existed before,” said Vikram Pawah in a telephonic interaction with The Telegraph.

The sports activity vehicle (SAV) as BMW calls its SUVs, gives the company decent volumes though the best-selling SAV for the company is its entry-level X1.

The car accelerates from 0-100 km per hour in just 5.4 seconds.
